Has anyone tried to either cosmetically change the European locomotives to resemble American yard switchers or build one from the ground up? The vanilla choices give us SD and GP road switchers but leave out the little SW's. They were everywhere from the 1940's to early 1990's either putting trains together in the yards or working short locals on little used spurs or lines that couldn't handle the larger engines. Growing up in Bakersfield near the SP yard my earliest memory of seeing any kind of engine was the SW-1 and 2's. These things were so common that I never realized they had all been retired until I was actually looking for one to take pictures of for a unique paint job on an HO scale one.
This little engine is a very important part of the US rail history that should have been included with the game and not left to modders to do. But, it does give a good modder and chance to show off.

Re: American SW series Switch Engines
The HH600 is the only small diesel switcher in the vanilla game, introduced in the 1930's, more switch locomotives would be good.
